Zundert 10 - Quadrupel - 75 cl bottle
Anniversary Edition.
This is the first time the beer has been bottled in a large 75 cl bottle. "We chose to give our existing quadruple an extra festive look for the tenth anniversary," said Brother Christiaan, brewery manager. "We toyed with the idea of developing a special version, but the beer already stands as a house. The large bottle does lend itself very well to layering. In the five years that Zundert 10 Quadrupel Trappist has been on the market, we have discovered that the beer keeps excellently for several years. If we can, of course, because the beer is also excellent to enjoy right now."
Starting today, anniversary packaging will be available at liquor stores and, of course, at the Abbey Maria Toevlucht store.
The packaging is based on an image of a gale plant created by Zundert artist Anne Geene. Together with a pinch of peat malt, gale contributes to the characteristic taste of all beers of Trappist brewery De Kievit. For the packaging, Anne Geene took several photos of gale. When edited, it turned out that the complementary image of the green branch on a white background is purple with black. "Those are exactly the colors of our Zundert 10," said Brother Christiaan. "That combination was too good not to use.
