Three ATP (Authentic Trappist Product) criteria
A member monastery applying to the ITA for permission to use the ATP label for a Trappist® product must comply with each of the following three guidelines:

Products must be produced within the monastery walls or in the immediate vicinity of the abbey;

Production takes place under the supervision of the monks or nuns;

The proceeds are earmarked for the needs of the monastic community, for solidarity within the Trappist order, for development projects and charitable purposes.
